I thought the instant media frenzy was limited just to the greater Atlanta area and was amused (not in the good way) that the national media was just BEGGING for this to become a Laci Peterson-esque situation. I take my opportunities to watch Oprah seriously and they actually cancelled Oprah two days in a row so they could begin the 'news' report (and accompanying frenzy-whipping) an hour early. Barf. Shocked about O'Reilly though...I mean, his compassion and instinct are almost unrivaled. How could he have misled us? How?! WHY? (Good job with Buster, by the way. Gavin and I have long, drawn out conversations on why I belong on the bed and he doesn't. He wins every time.) Oh yes…our local lady with ever-so-cold feet.
